Absolutely beautiful!

I love the light and mood on it. You drew the tree and the piano very well too. And I think the fact you can't see the guy's face is very essential.

The idea for this is interesting and fairly surreal. Which is not a bad thing :D But you should watch your perspective a little. Neither the vanishing points of the piano nor of the ones of the floor tiles seem to lie on the horizon, so the viewer gets no feeling for space in this piece. Also I suggest you try to keep the lighting consistent  You did a good job on the guy, but the tree suddenly receives light from the right and the rots have the same values at all places, which again, flattens out your piece. But you have to consider that this is a backlit scenery and that the lid of the piano as well as the body of the piano itself would cast a shadow onto the roots
The sun would also cause highlights on the clouds, you don't get clouds without a highlight like this until the sun has sunken behind the horizon.

In any case I think your initial idea is cool, but it needs some tweaking to bring it all together.
